For this episode I am catching up with Singer, Dancer, Stylist, Vintage Collector/Dealer, Upcycler, Vegan and Glampsite creator Chloe Le Fay. We recently recorded this "fireside chat" inside one of her bell tents and under the pouring rain.
I first met Chloe in the year 2000 at an art opening in Hoxton, London. It was for an exhibition of paintings by our mutual friend Sam Hamilton aka Toonpunk/Spaceman Sam. Chloe was in a band with Nick Lloyd Webber at the time and he had created the original score for two of my short films (POST & Mon amour, Mon parapluie).
It was a treat to recently visit her off-grid glamping site in Sussex and to record this episode IRL- in a real life bell tent under the pouring rain.
We discuss her background as a singer and dancer, what it takes to succeed in the arts, collecting vintage clothing and up-cycling interiors. We also have a listen to some of her great, as of yet unreleased songs.
